Two-year car and light truck registrations and two-year safety inspections begin this year. Vehicles with an odd-numbered model year will be eligible for the 2 year registration next year. Fees for safety inspections change as well. Service stations can now charge $12 to inspect cars and trucks, ten dollars for motorcycles.
