Give me a (construction) sign

July 3, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Look for some new road signs the Missouri Department of Transportation is putting up. The signs read “Show Me Progress” and they’ll mark major construction sites for the coming year. Spokeswoman for MODOT, Sue Cox, hopes the signs keep people from getting too agitated in construction zones. They also designed to specifically identify the work being done and give the department’s toll free number for questions or gripes about the area. Hundreds of the signs will mark construction projects around the state starting this week, but only in areas planned in the next 12 months.
