Two people have escaped serious injury in an amusement ride accident at the Lake of the Ozarks. The accident happened today at a ride called “The Screamer”. Its an inverted bungee ride on the Bagnell Dam strip. One support tower collapsed into the other because of a structural failure. Two women involved in the incident escaped serious injury. They were rescued from 75 feet up. Missouri has no laws requiring inspections of amusement rides.
