Former Missouri quarterback Corby Jones, who led the Tigers to two winning seasons after 13 straight losing years, has been released by the Canadian Football League’s Montreal Alouettes. Jones quarterbacked the Tigers to a 7-5 record in 1997, and an 8-4 mark in 1998 that included a bowl victory over West Virginia. Jones had fallen to third-string quarterback in Montreal, and decided to leave camp.
