Mystery in jail cell death

June 21, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

An unknown cause of death for the St. Louis traffic violator who died in his police holding cell. Autopsy results on Anthony Taylor, 26, reveal little about why the man died. The St. Louis City Medical Examiner’s Office is now ordering toxicology tests. Taylor was being held earlier this week for failing to appear on a traffic violation. Taylor told police he’d eaten some cocaine, but refused treatment when they took him to a hospital.
