Dooling Makes Final Call: Going Pro

June 21, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Keyon Dooling has made it official: He’s not coming back to Mizzou. Dooling says he will stay in the NBA draft. The deadline for withdrawing from the draft is today. Many mock drafts predict Dooling will be taken in the middle of the first round, which he says is good enough reason for him to leave school early. Dooling averaged 15 points a game as a sophomore, leading the Tigers in scoring, assists and blocked shots. The last Missouri player taken in the first round of the NBA draft was Anthony Peeler, picked by the Lakers in 1992.
