The Kansas City Blades have an affiliation again. The Blades have struck a deal to be the minor league affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks. The Blades were tied to the San Jose Sharks from 1991 to 1996, but have not been affiliated since. The Blades won their league championship, the Turner Cup, in 1992, their first year with the Sharks.
