Duke Energy is building a 230-Million dollar energy power plant that will supply electricity to utilities during peak demand. Project Director Doug Colbeck says Vandalia in Audrain County provides the perfect location.Building the plant will employ 250 workers during the one year construction period. The plant will need only six people to operate it. Duke plans to have turbines on the site by June 16th.
