The attorney for serial murder suspect John Robinson met with members of the media for the first time yesterday. Byron Cerillo hints he may ask for a change of venue motion because of pre-trial publicity. He is upset that the public is calling Robinson a serial killer, despite the fact he is only charged with sexual assault. Cerillo says his client denies the sexual assault charges and any other that may come. Robinson’s family also released a statement yesterday, claiming no knowledge of the suspect’s alleged crimes–and excoriating the media for its coverage of the event.
