UMKC athletic director Bob Thomas is in the midst of his search for a new basketball coach. Temple assistant coach Dean Demopoulos is visiting the school today. Thomas has already met this week with Illinois assistant Derek Thomas, and South Carolina assistant John Cooper. Both of those men also met with UMKC players. Thomas says he hopes to make a decision sometime between tomorrow and next Friday.
