St. Louisan Hale Irwin emerged from a crowded field to win the Senior PGA Tour event in Nashville, Tennessee. Irwin shot a final round 7-under par 65 to win by one stroke. He had started the day in a four-way tie for first, with eight golfers just one stroke back. Irwin tied the tournament record by shooting 18 under over three rounds, and beat Gil Morgan by one stroke for his second win of the year.
