St. Louisan Jay Williamson is tied for the lead after the first round of the PGA Tour event in Potomac, Maryland. Williamson set a course record by shooting 29 on the back nine, to finish at 7 under par, 64. Williamson is tied with Steve Lowery heading into today’s second round. Williamson has never won a tour event. He led this tournament after three rounds in 1996, but shot a final round 79 that year.
