After winning the first two games of their series in Arizona, the Cardinals dropped the last two to settle for a split. Armando Reynoso shut out the Cardinals for seven innings and the Diamondbacks won 4-0. Andy Benes allowed only six hits for the Cards, but three of them left the ballpark. Matt Williams, Steve Finley, and Luis Gonzalez all hit solo home runs for the D-Backs. Reynoso held St. Louis to four hits and no walks over seven innings, to improve to 4-4. Benes fell to 4-3. The Cardinals begin interleague play tonight at home against the Cleveland Indians. Darryl Kile takes a 7-3 mark to the hill against Jaret Wright, who is 3-3.
