Central Missouri State’s baseball team has finished another terrific season, just short of a national championship. The Mules are heading home after being eliminated from the division II baseball championships. The Mules were ousted by the nation’s number one team, North Florida, which beat CMSU 12-1. UNF scored two runs in the second and two in the third, and blew the game open with a 6-run fifth. North Florida outhit Central Missouri 18-8. CMSU finishes the season with a 50-13 record after losing two out of three in Montgomery, Alabama this week.
