The Cardinals get another great pitching performance and one big hit. Rick Ankiel carried a no-hitter into the 6th before allowing a run, and Shawon Dunston provided a grand slam, to carry the Cards past Arizona, 6-1. Ankiel lost his no-hitter when opposing pitcher Omar Daal beat out a bunt that rolled on the third base line. Daal eventually scored. Matt Morris relieved in the 7th, his first appearance for the Cardinals since 1998. He pitched three shutout innings for his first career save. Tonight, the Cards will send Pat Hentgen to the hill against Randy Johnson.
