CMSU Beats Gardner-Webb, Stays Alive

Central Missouri State will play another day at the Division II baseball championships in Montgomery, Alabama. The Mules beat Gardner-Webb 10-1, eliminating Gardner-Webb from the tournament. The Mules broke open a 1-1 game, scoring four runs in the fifth, and five more in the sixth. Thad Peeler drove in four of the runs for CMSU. The Mules will face the nation’s number one team, North Florida, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, in another elimination game.
