St. Louisan Hale Irwin and legendary Arnold Palmer headline the field that is scheduled to be on the links today at the Senior PGA tour’s Boone Valley Classic. Other top names taking part in the tournament outside St. Louis include Tom Watson, who finished second in Kansas City last week, Lee Trevino, Gary Player and Chi Chi Rodriguez. The event gets underway today, weather permitting, at Boone Valley, and runs through Sunday.
