Mark McGwire and Ray Lankford hit back to back home runs for the second straight day, and Garrett Stephenson gave the Cardinals their first complete game of the season, and a 5-1 win over Florida. Lankford was a defensive hero as well. In the top of the 6th, with the game tied at one, Lankford jumped against the left field fence and reached high to take a home run away from Kevin Millar. In the bottom of the 6th, McGwire snapped the tie with a three-run homer, his 20th of the year, and Lankford followed with his 9th of the year. Stephenson allowed five hits and walked three in going the distance. He is 7-0.
