Amateur basketball coach Myron Piggie has reached a plea agreement with federal prosecutors. Piggie has admitted to paying high school basketball players, and has pleaded guilty to a felony count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and misdemeanor count of failing to file a tax return. The government has agreed to drop the other charges against Piggie. Piggie acknowledged paying over $35,000 to players, including Kareem and JaRon Rush, and Corey Maggette. Piggie could get up to six years in prison. No sentencing date has been announced.
