Governor Carnahan is asking Washington for more money to help those displaced by the flash flooding earlier this month in Franklin, Jefferson, and Gasconade Counties. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has already come through with some assistance for the region. But the governor says the flooding caused $3.6 million in damages to roads and bridges, and many of the affected communities lack the resources to make the necessary repairs.
