St. Louis Rams quarterback Kurt Warner is in good condition after surgery to remove his appendix. Rams officials say Warner had an appendectomy at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis after a CAT scan showed his appendix had become inflamed. Doctors say Warner’s appendix did not burst, and the minor surgery took slightly more than an hour. Warner may be able to participate in the team’s next mini-camp the first weekend in June, and will almost certainly be fully recovered by training camp in August. Warner was the MVP of the regular season and the Super Bowl this past season, when he led the Rams to the championship.
