Mizzou Meets Nebraska in Big 12 Tourney

May 17, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Mizzou opens Big 12 tournament play this afternoon in Oklahoma City against second seed Nebraska. Mizzou coach Tim Jamieson says the league has tremendous depth, and every game this week will be a tough one. Mizzou is seeded seventh in the tournament, and Jamieson says the Tigers probably need to reach the championship game to even be considered for an at-large bid to an NCAA regional. The Tigers would receive an automatic bid if they win the tournament. Mizzou has a record of 32-22.
