Partying before the Glendale High School prom

May 16, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Springfield Glendale High School officials are deciding what to do with about 30 students who showed up at the senior prom…after they’d apparently been drinking at a pre-prom party. The big question is whether they will miss graduation and be barred from other events at the end of the school year. Glendale policy gives ten-day suspensions for students violating the school’s anti-alcohol policy. And students who had signed a Citizenship Card to take part in extra-curricular activities face another 14 days of suspension. Nobody’s been arrested, but a police report will be sent to the Greene County prosecutor.
