A state representative decries the lack of action to make the State Capitol more accessible to the handicapped. Representative David Levin of St. Louis takes to the House floor during debate on the state capital improvement budget, complaining about the lack of financing for handicapped accessibility. Levin says a constituent confined to a wheelchair couldn’t get into his office, because the door isn’t wide enough. He says many representatives have complained for years about similar problems.
