The nation’s biggest manufacturer of refrigerated display cases for supermarkets and convenience stores is being sold. Hussman International of Bridgeton will be bought by Ingersoll-Rand for more than 1.8-billion dollars. Ingersoll-Rand says it will keep the plant in Bridgeton open. It’s the biggest plant of its kind in the world…27-hundred people work there.
