The House, in Washington, has passed a bill setting up a 45-billion-dollar conservation fund to buy land for parks, protect wildlife, and protect coastal areas damaged by erosion. Missouri is in line to get more than 32-million of those dollars. All of the Republican members of Congress from Missouri voted against the proposal. All of the Democrats except Karen McCarthy of Kansas City voted for it. She did not vote.
