Kansas City banker R. Crosby Kemper will not be the white knight for Kemper Military Academy in Boonville. The school says it might close after tomorrow’s graduation ceremonies because of serious financial problems. But R. Crosby Kemper tells the Kansas City Star he’s helped the school stay afloat twice in the past, and that’s enough. He says he doesn’t think young people want to go to military schools anymore.
