Morris Faces New Charges

May 11, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Former Chiefs running back Bam Morris now faces additional charges. Federal prosecutors have added counts of money laundering and drug distribution to the marijuana conspiracy charge Morris already faces. Morris is behind bars in federal custody awaiting trial. Prosecutors allege Morris and two associates used 40-thousand dollars provided by former Chief kick returner Tamarick Vanover to buy marijuana. Vanover has been cooperating with authorities after pleading guilty to a related car theft charge.
