After getting rained out Tuesday, the Royals and Tigers will play again this afternoon. No makeup date has been set for last night’s rainout, but the teams will likely play a doubleheader when the Royals visit Detroit again in July. The Royals were trailing 3-0 in the third when the rain and hail started falling. Today the Royals are seeking their second straight road win after losing nine straight on the road earlier. Chris Fussell is on the mound for Kansas City against Hideo Nomo. After this afternoon’s contest, the Royals travel to Cleveland for a four game weekend series.
