Fatal Flash Floods in Eastern Missouri

Two people are dead in flash floods that hit part of eastern Missouri during the weekend. Heavy rains–as much as 12 to 14 inches in some places–in Warren, Franklin, Jefferson and St. Charles counties have washed out roads and destroyed at least three mobile home parks. One creek rose 21 feet in a few hours.
