Rosado Headed for D.L.

May 5, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Ace pitcher Jose Rosado will be no help to the Royals as they host the first-place White Sox this weekend. Rosado is on the disabled list with tendinitis in his rotator cuff. Rosado rested ten days between his last two starts, and pitched effectively, but Royals manager Tony Muser says they can’t afford to wait that long. Chris Fussell has been recalled from Omaha, and will start tonight against Chicago’s Cal Eldred. Carlos Beltran may sit out with a sprained wrist. The Royals are in third place, five games behind the White Sox.
