Vocational school defrauds government

Operators of a former vocational school in Blue Springs admit they degfrauded the government out of more than 1.4-million dollars in federal education grants. The former owner of the Eastern Jackson County College of Allied Health, Kathryn Harmon, and her daughter, Angela Case, have pleaded guilty to federal conspiracy charges. Case taught at the school, which closed three years ago.
