Can this really keep happening? The Royals scored three runs in the bottom of the tenth to beat Oakland 8-7. Ricky Bottalico gave up two homers in the top of the tenth, giving the A’s a 7-5 lead. But Mark Quinn took Oakland closer Jason Isringhausen deep for a two-run blast to tie the score. Then with two outs, Rey Sanchez singled, stole second despite a pitchout, and scored on a game winning single by Carlos Febles. The Royals are now 11-3 at home, and have won seven of those games in their final at-bat. They wrap up their series with the A’s tonight. Jeff Suppan will start for Kansas City against Gil Heredia.
