New Royals owner David Glass is re-organizing the team’s management. Glass has established a new board of directors for the Royals, which includes five members of his family. Glass will serve as Chairman, and is joined on the board by his wife, Ruth Glass, and the couple’s three grown children, Dan and Don Glass, and Dayna Martz. Dan Glass will also serve as the team’s president. The other two members of the board are Julia Irene Kauffman, the daughter of long-time owners Ewing and Muriel Kauffman, and Herk Robinson, the Royals general manager.
