Space shuttle mission experiments

The space shuttle mission scheduled for mid-August will include almost 50 experiments from seven St. Louis-area schools. Students want to know what happens to some common objects in space–such as maple tree “helicopters”–the seeds from the tree–along with things such as moldy bread, rotting hamburger, blood, brine shrimp, gum and cement.
