Two Kansas City policemen who say the failure of their radios during a chase of a suspect endangered their lives have settled their lawsuit against the manufacturer out of court. Both officers were shot and wounded during the case. Their lawyer says the failure of the radios kept them from getting backup help until both had been wounded and one of them had shot their assailant. The amount of the settlement is being kept secret. Both officers have returned to duty.
