Some members of the Air National Guard Unit at Lambert-St. Louis airport head to Thailand Monday…part of an annual training exercise with Thai forces. About 35 members will make the trip. The unit is part of a bigger unit that specializes in combat plans, operations, intelligence and communications. Later this year, the unit’s fighter wing will go to Saudi Arabia and fly patrols over southern Iraq.
