Eight children in the Fort Osage school district have been arrested by police because they’ve missed too much school. Police say each of the kids has missed more than 20 days. All of the arrests took place at the students’ homes. Police could not find ten other truants for whom they had warrants. The arrested students have been released to their parents. Some of the parents say they did not know their children had skipped classes.
