Southwest Missouri State basketball coach Barry Hinson has added a junior college forward to his roster, completing this year’s recruiting class. 6-foot-7 Dano Novak, a native of Slovakia, has signed to play for the Bears. Novak averaged 15 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5 assists for Weatherford College in Texas. He is an excellent outside shooter, who was also being recruited by Tulsa. The addition of Novak gives SMS seven new players for next season, five that signed this spring, and two from the fall signing period. The Bears are losing five seniors, and three other players from the team that reached the second round of the NIT.
