Kirkwood man receives life plus 70 years for shooting

April 25, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

It’s life plus 70 years for a man who shot a woman to death at her home in Columbia eleven months ago. The prosecutor says Mark Dudley of Kirkwood broke into the home of Kandi Nickens looking for cocaine he thought Nickens’ boyfriend had hidden there. A second man accused in the case got 20 years for burglary and drug possession. It was a plea deal Kevin Harris made with the prosecutors, under which he testified against Dudley.
