Mizzou’s baseball team fell to Cal State Northridge 6-1 on Sunday, settling for two out of three in the series. The Tigers beat the Matadors Friday and Saturday, but stranded ten runners and hit into two double plays in losing the finale. The Tigers are 25-17, and play a unique non-conference game against Saint Louis University Tuesday. The Tigers and Billikens will meet at T.R. Hughes Ballpark in O’Fallon, and will play the game with wood bats, as opposed to aluminum. The bats are being provided by Rawlings Sporting Goods as part of a promotion. The Tigers return home to host Southwest Missouri State Wednesday.
