A state audit turns up a shortage of 11-thousand-500 dollars in the circuit court in Battlefield, a suburb of Springfield. The audit says money from fines, bonds and court costs were not deposited from July of ’95 through early August last year. The information gathered by the state has been given to the Greene County prosecutor and sheriff’s department.
