The Mayor of New Madrid says he wonders how many laws are being enforced in his town. Mayor Mark Baker says four police officers in New Madrid had one arrest…or no arrests…during the month of March. Citizens have voiced concerns to the city council twice in the last two months about lack of enforcement. The police chief says he’s confident his officers are on the job, but he promises to step up enforcement efforts.
