This might be a rare move… An Indiana company that has bought a Missouri company is going to close its plant in Indiana…and move jobs to Missouri. General Products and Services, the buyer of Guy’s Foods, is closing its plant in Fort Wayne, Indiana and shifting operations to the Guy’s plant in Liberty. A company spokesman says closing the plant in Indiana will save the company five million dollars a year, and add back some jobs eliminated at the Liberty plant. The Liberty plant once had one-thousand employees but now has about 600.
