Honors for Southside rapist pursuer

April 19, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

A man who chased the Southside Rapist from his girlfriend’s home and provided the clues that eventually led to the arrest of Dennis Rabbit has been honored in Lemay…with a citation and a check for 66-hundred dollars. Gene Frigo chased a car driven by Rabbit after Rabbit tried to break into the girlfriend’s house. He never caught Rabbit, but he got the license number that eventually led to Rabbit’s arrest. Rabbit has been sentenced to more than a dozen life prison sentences for the series of rapes in the St. Louis area.
