A St. Louis man who lied on an application for a VA loan to buy a house has pleaded guilty to five charges. Rodney Powell McIntosh could be sent to prison for 23 years and fined a quarter million dollars on each count. The federal prosecutor says he impersonated an investigator and doctor with the federal public health service, and lied about being a lieutenant commander in the military. He also pleaded guilty to using a false social security number.
