David Glass could become the owner of the Royals as early as today. Major league owners are meeting in Houston beginning today. A vote on Glass’ ownership bid is part of the agenda. Glass is expected to gain approval without any problem. He has served as the Royals’ chairman of the board since 1993. He recently sold 2-million shares of Wal-Mart stock to finance his purchase of the team.
