Former minister jailed for abuse

April 17, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Former Dunklin County minister James Niederstadt has been ordered to prison for 25 years for the sexual abuse of a teenage girl. Niederstadt was convicted in February. He had told police he had abused the girl, who was 17, several times during a five-week period in 19-92. The girl’s parents are missionaries who had left their daughter in Niederstadt’s care so she could finish high school in the United States.
