A jury has told the distributor of a lamp with faulty wiring to pay 15-million dollars to the family of a four-year-old boy electrocuted almost five years ago. An appeal of the judgment is planned. Testimony showed Conor Foster was electrocuted because two wires were spliced together backwards and because some insulation was torn allowing wires to touch the lamp’s frame.
