Mizzou’s Gage Moves to Receiver

April 5, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Justin Gage will not play quarterback for the Missouri Tigers. Gage has been moved to wide receiver, where the Tigers will need depth with their new four and five receiver offensive sets. Last year, Gage lost his redshirt late in the season and started the Tiger’s final game at quarterback. Kirk Farmer, Jim Dougherty and Darius Outlaw will now compete for the starting quarterback job. Gage joined spring practice a little late, after playing on the Mizzou basketball team.
